Primroses in Waterlow Park

I'm not sure if these primroses in Waterlow park, Highate, are the real thing, or cultivated. 

Either way, they're looking good, and something you don't see that often. They always take me back to my childhood, because when I was young, there were thousands of primroses where we lived, by the seaside north of Belfast.

I used to pick them for my mum, quite rightly, no longer the done thing.
