I've only just caught up with the news that my Lib Dem colleagues in Camden have comfortably held Belsize ward in a by-election on Thursday. Another in a string of great results.Belsize used to be the ward of the Tory leader in Camden, and was gained by the Lib Dems at the last local elections.
I know the area well, as one of my best friends lived there for years. Natural Lib Dem territory I'd say, and the result bodes well for the general election.
