The Christmas lights in Highgate village are no longer with us. They were removed last week, according to the latest email from the Council.
A bit of a mystery still surrounds why they were left up so long, and what were the other two events at which it was hoped they might be usefully deployed.
The first was identified clearly enough - as "Easter." The other was "an event in the Autumn."
My birthday, possibly.
